Cheap Liquor

We have friends here now, and that means requisite exchange of gifts. It's like couples dating or something. We're all trouping off in a tourist team large enough to invade penghu, and I got assigned to buy the liquor. Only two of the group are going to drink a respectable amount, and one of that pair is myself. The other half is into whisky, so I walked to LinBei to a 24 hour whisky shop and got a couple of bottles. They came out to about half price of back in the states (I guess I haven't bought whisky since I came to Taiwan. I listened to Alastair Reynolds and carried my haul back across town. It would have been a good night to skate.
