Taipei is too crowded to skate in the day
Day skating in the city is hard. My neighborhood has almost 30,000 people/ sq km, and most of them were on the sidewalks today because of the good weather. I was too, but cruising speed was reduced to a crawl. If I'm complaining about having to skate slowly, then you can be guaranteed it's bad. I went on a random walk, changing directions after any block that I didn't land a new trick. This guarantees that I move a few blocks away in a straight line and then start to explore a lot of alleys that I wouldn't normally skate, but that are a blessed relief from all the foot traffic. Eventually, this method led me up to the skateboard graveyard. I saw a corpse in the road, twisted up like how people look after they fall on Family Guy. I tried to skate the dogpiss curbs but I didn't bring any wax and noone else skates them, so they were back to their original state. I got back right at dark. I dont want to have to work tonight.
