we decided to make the quarterpipe with a metal plate at the base, but that costs a lot of money in taiwan. this is surprising, since taiwan is a steel producing country. we met up under the bridge to pool funds. i skated some, with lots of new faces, and thankfully, no dancers. each cold session is a blessing.
